Tatenda is a founding director of Nurture. Before founding Nurture, Tatenda was an investment banker at Goldman Sachs International, based in Johannesburg and covering Sub Saharan Africa. During his four years at Goldman Sachs, Tatenda advised corporate and high net worth clients looking to invest in Africa, as well as African companies seeking to raise debt or equity financing.
Barbara is a Chartered Accountant with over twelve years' experience in external and internal audit, tax, financial reporting, financial due diligence, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, financial management and project management. She has worked in the USA, the Netherlands, South Africa and Zimbabwe for top tier firms such as PwC and the Econet Group.
Kudakwashe Gumbie studied Economics, Finance and International Trade at Deakin University in Australia. Since graduating he has worked in Retail, Construction and Financial Services. In his previous roles he has held various managerial positions and has experience in research and financial analysis, portfolio management, due diligence, client relationship management and administration.
Teresa holds a BSc. (Hons) Degree in Information Systems and a post graduate diploma in Development Education with Kimmage University. She holds a Master of Science in Strategic Management with Chinhoyi University of Technology. In her twelve-year career, she has held roles such as Programs Officer, Marketing Manager and Executive Assistant. Immediately prior to joining Nurture, she worked at the Australian Embassy under the Direct Aid Program as an Administrative Assistant performing monitoring and evaluation and grants management duties. Teresa now serves as the System's Administrator at Nurture and also runs a retail business.
Tazreen is a highly experienced member of our team who has accumulated knowledge and increased skill over 19 years. During her career, she has worked in administrative and coordinator roles in the legal field as well as the education and health sectors. Having spent 10 years in a number of roles at the Harare International School, Tazreen has acquired insight into interacting with and serving individuals from many different countries, cultures and backgrounds, which insight she brings to the work we do at Nurture. Tazreen also stays up to date with the most efficient ways of organizing our administration at Nurture in order to ensure that we run as a well-oiled machine.
Zinzile joins us from DLA Piper Africa – Zimbabwe (Manokore Attorneys) where she was a Senior Associate in the commercial dispute resolution and tax practice areas. She is experienced in commercial drafting, corporate and tax structuring, and tax advisory. Zinzile has had the opportunity to gain knowledge in multiple jurisdictions, having obtained her LLB at the University of Cape Town and begun her career at a law firm in Cape Town before returning to Zimbabwe.
Prince graduated from University of Cape town in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Business Science degree (B.Bus.Sci) specialising in Finance with Accounting at the University of Cape Town (UCT). After graduating he spent three years at Corporate Excellence Financial Advisory as a Financial Analyst working on M&A deals, corporate finance, business restructuring, and advisory for listed and large private companies across all sectors in Zimbabwe.
